This assignment presented the challange of creating a look of white (cotton) to become an embodiment of the word Frisky
the model designated to me for this challange was:
Ambola- bald, African, dark brown 21
this was actually the first time I've drawn with such a dark skinned model. it was a little tricky. all I really could do was try my best as far as the coloring of the skin. Hope it did okay?
as far as the design goes, this is actually the third design, the previous two designs were thrown out for various reassons. Since colors were limited I decided to work more with lines and textures and played on various weights of cotton wovens.
kept the accessories to a minimal with just a fun pastel scarf
I really like the details in this dress..and thanx for submitting!

Adorable! I love the frilly skirt. I covet the shoes. You did an excellent job on the model; she's beautiful and you did the skin wonderfully. Her expression is cute, too. Good job! ^_^
This is a good looking garment and I like all texture that you created at the bottom. I like the styling and think it could have been more friskier..
Be sure to utilize accessories.

The trick I think is to just go about it the same you would lighter skintones but just use darker shades. I draw a lot of dark skinned girls if you ever want to referance my gallery ^_^
